The management and staff of the BAYVIEW WAIRAKEI RESORT believe that to achieve our goals of becoming the premiere hotelier company in TAUPO, we must lead not only economically, but environmentally and socially as well. The company understands that it is in a prominent position to affect the environment in TAUPO. Our objective is not only to sustain our environment for our descendants but also to rehabilitate the damage previously done.

We believe that our corporate responsibility goes beyond our proprietary borders and we endeavor to co operate with our neighbors and our suppliers to develop our business in a sustainable manner. Every effort will be made to conserve resources throughout our operations. Our purchasing department will seek products and services of local origin and that are environmentally benign. The company will choose to hire local whenever possible. Our success will be determined on a yearly basis with a commitment to improve. Furthermore, the company will not only meet existing environmental laws and regulations, but go beyond the status quo and seek techniques and approaches that position us ahead of our competition.

Our policy towards the environment will be readily available and promoted to our business partners and guests. 100% Eco Friendly Door Hangers. The Door Hangers are now printed on 100% Recycled, Post Consumer Waste, in a Process Chlorine Free process. The 'ecoStar' paper has been specifically designed with exceptional whiteness, superior bulk and opacity to make it ideal for high quality printing.

Conference Brochure and Wrap

The Conference Brochure and Wrap are constructed of Novatech Satin. Novateach is produced by Nordland Paper, a company with FSC Chain of Custody (CoC), ISO 14001 EMS certification and registered under the EU - Eco - Mgmt and Audi Scheme - EMAS. Novatech is FSC Chain of Custody certified.
